One of the last examples off of the production line, this one is complete with its original corresponding trade box and instructions. Measuring 3 1/4" the feature of this reel is the raised plate which accommodates the Mark II check mechanism allowing the spool greater line capacity.
First introduced in 1905 and with a production run that came to an end in 1939.
The finish to the faceplate is referred to as "white paper marble" and is a characteristic on the last editions from 1939, of which this example is 1 of 16 produced.
