Hardy's Fortuna

This is the rare 5" Hardy Fortuna, also known as the Junior reel, with the Dec 1937 Patent Details on the winding bar.

A reel made of Duralumin, and used for both Saltwater Game or Salmon fishing, this example has twin reverse tapered ebonite handles on brass crossbar, patented centre tension braking system and with a smooth constant check.
